Spring Clean Laundromats
Perry Duncan, Owner of FBN, Inc. and Spring Clean Laundromats, has been in the laundromat business since 1978, starting with a small self service laundromat at 9th St and Waco.
Over the next 32 years, they would upgrade, install new equipment, and build loyal customer bases in over 15 laundromats in and surrounding the Wichita, Ks area.
Listening to customers, Perry decided a better layout would be more customer friendly, so he and a partner renovated a former grocery store at S. Seneca and McCormick, this location became Lost Sock #1 in 2003. The success of the new more open layout proved the concept and Perry then designed and built his partner Lost Sock II at Pawnee and K-15.
In 2006, Perry's dream of building a ground-up facility began with the purchase of land at Webb Rd. and Lincoln Ave. on the east side of Wichita. Thus the birth of Spring Clean Laundromats. Spring Clean East opened on July 7th, 2007, 07/07/07.
March 2009 saw the beginning of the build, a second ground-up facility, Spring Clean West, N. Ridge Rd and Shady Lane, 1/4 mile south of Central Ave. SCW opened Oct 23rd, 2009.
These new "mega" open, comfortable, modern, air conditioned, flat screen TV, cable, kids playground style of
laundromats caught the attention of the national Coin Op industry monthly magazine and Spring Clean was Featured
in a 5 page article in September 2008.
